Perhaps it may turn out a sang,
Perhaps turn out a sermon.

Verse of the Day

It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. -- Deuteronomy 31:8

I really needed to sleep last night then I got a late phone call.  It was nothing bad, but I did not get to sleep for a while.  Today is a busy one, so we have a VOTD.

Later.

Hope you can catch up on your sleep soon. It seems that late phone calls often occur whenever sleep is needed. It's like a double-whammy.

One of the definitions of dismay is: to lose enthusiasm.
I never thought of it in that way, but losing enthusiasm in a relationship with God is as bad as not trusting Him, along with fear, stress, worrying, shock, etc..

I gno, speakin' for myself here, every single time I lose enthusiasm in God (ie dismayed), it's always my fault.
There is no way for God to lose enthusiasm for me. He Died for me. He suffered for me. He was and is hated because of His eternal love for me...for us.

So there is no good reason to be dismayed with God.
Aye, I oughtta be enthusiastic with God! Enthusiastic, excited, joyful, and thankful! That's all part of love.

I know what you mean. I'm the same way. I think going to church and "encouraging one another" helps some, but I recall, too, that David "encouraged himself", and we have to do that, too.
