Perhaps it may turn out a sang,
Perhaps turn out a sermon.

Verse of the Day

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases … -- Psalm 103:2-3

I have the flu.  My granddaughter had Type A and B.  I don’t think mine is alphabetized.  It’s the Stupid Flu.  It got so bad around 2:00AM that I took my annual ibuprofen.  I should have made coffee and sat up with it.  I didn’t go back to sleep anyway.  Around 5:30 or 6:00, I started sweating, and now I don’t feel so bad.  I would be able to sleep at last, but I have stuff that needs to be done.

So, we’ll go with an applicable verse of the day, and everybody have a good weekend.

I hope n' pray you feel better soon, Mushroom.
The flu is no picnic. Try to rest and drink lots of OJ.

You might wanna add some tequila to that OJ. For antiseptic purposes.

Tequila!

I was tempted to head out to Wal-Mart to see if they have any Rock and Rye.

The first job I ever had I worked with an old German lady. She was 70 and had gotten special permission to keep working past her retirement age.

Any time I would come in with sniffs or a cough, her recommendation was the same: "You need to get some Rock and Rye on the way home tonight. That will fix you right up."

I tried it. It sure helped me sleep.

I hope you feel better soon. There are some nasty germs going around this year!
